The madness continues. First, we have . . . dare I call it an embroidery???? My first ever piece of stitching anyway so don't look too closely! I had the idea to make a penny farthing out of the Dorset Buttons. Two Dorset buttons with only a bit of the centres filled in are the wheels and I stitched beads in for the seat, pedals, cogs and handlebar.

Next, a Halloween ornie.

Then one for the tree. This is almost 3" in diameter.

And one more Xmas ornie. Another snowflake but, this time, a Swarovski crystal one.
I love the buttons!!!!

Wow, the penny farthing is fabulous! And the ornament buttons are a wonderful idea, they're going to look fabulous on your tree this winter :)
ReplyDeleteWow, for someone who says they've not done it before those look very impressive!
ReplyDeleteI first heard about Dorset buttons a couple of weeks ago when someone at my knitting club mentioned that they'd like to make some. I'd not heard of them before. And now I come across your blog and you've made some too. They look great.
