I've almost finished my Xmas crafting. All, that is, except the hat and scarf I'm making for a good friend. I've hit a hiatus with that one all because, out of the seemingly hundreds of circular needles I have in almost every length and diameter, I seem to be short of a 40cm in 4mm. So, it has been duly ordered online and I await its arrival hopefully in good time.
For that same good friend, who is an Elvis Presley fan, I've made an extra little something mainly because, having got into making dotee dolls, I had an idea that I could give him something that he would never expect and will hopefully afford him a bit of a giggle.

I also finished the Lily of the Valley scarf which is another Xmas gift.

And found a frame for the Dorset button penny farthing I stitched.

Here are my first attempts at cardmaking.

I used Stickles on the Xmas tree card and it took ages to dry. As a result some of the Stickles came off onto the Xmas pudd card. Since then, I've also made some embroidered cards and some cross stitch cards - pics to come.
Last but not least, look who got to appear in the Knitting & Crochet Guild's magazine, Slipknot.

Happy Xmas to everyone and may the coming year bring you everything you wish for.
Everything you do is fabulous!!!

I love the lace scarf, and the Christmas cards are great too. I would never know they were your first if you hadn't told us.

All of your work is so fabulous -- the beaded Elvis is great. But my favorite is the Lily of the Valley shawl -- a labor of love, but so beautiful.
