Baking Day

I wanted a couple of embellishments for a planned project
so I used up a block of polymer clay to do some quickies.

Much more fun than baking cake but not as tasty.

Napkin Art

Some cards made with napkins.

A fabric paper postcard with an image of a stag taken from a paper napkin.
The background uses a technique known as blended papers
which I read about in the current issue of the Craft Stamper.
The buttons are chipboard ones from Jenni Bowlin.

And a candle that has had images
from a paper napkin burnt into it.

Still Catching Up!

More projects to post about, some from a while ago

At ATC made with hand textured and spritzed paper
I can't quite remember how I got the texture
for this background but I do remember
masking with sequin waste followed by lace
and spritzing with candy pink and sunlight mist.

A couple of scrapbook pages where
I've used pics of my son when he was small

Multicrafting

Some small people that started off as basic cardboard shapes.
Given clothes, hair and faces and little personalities.
These were made back in October last year as decorations for a party
and provided some lighthearted fun for an afternoon.

A vintage style scrapbook page.
Ivy was a bit of a thespian
as can be seen here.

Ivy again, this time as a bride.

This card has a background paper
that has been decorated with cosmic shimmer mist.
A vintage image has been printed on silk,
then placed in an aperture with some batting behind
to give some extra dimension

My second Coquille shawl.
This one's a smaller version
of the one I made previously.
I love the colours in this one.

Valentine Tussie Mussies

I've been busy making tussie mussies.
These are embellished paper cones.
They can be filled with treats
and hung on door handles for decoration.
They can be decorated for Xmas,
for Easter, Halloween, and so on
but these are Valentine themed ones.

A soft, pretty, fluffy one. From the front:

From the back:

And a manly one:
